Tanggung Jawab
- Evaluate and assess complex risk profiles for Critical Illness and Dread Disease insurance products.
- Ensure underwriting decisions align with corporate appetite, technical guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, loss ratios, and claims trends to optimize product profitability.
- Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to develop innovative insurance solutions and competitive pricing strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of underwriting manuals and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding complex medical underwriting queries.
- Participate in regional projects aimed at improving A&H product distribution and risk management frameworks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accident & Health underwriting, specifically focusing on Critical Illness or Dread Disease lines.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic tests, and chronic disease management.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume underwriting queues while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CGI, ANZIIF, or equivalent) will be considered a distinct advantage.
