Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOE, and other relevant Malaysian regulations.
- Lead and participate in root cause analyses (RCA) for incidents and near-misses to prevent recurrence and improve overall safety metrics.
- Manage the regulatory compliance calendar, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to environmental permits and safety standards.
- Design and deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills, ensuring readiness for various industrial scenarios.
- Monitor waste management and sustainability initiatives, driving initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial), Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in EH&S within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong understanding of semiconductor or chemical processing environments.
- Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH General Certificate, or similar professional safety designation is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations (DOSH), DOE regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex safety issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and influence personnel at all levels of the organization.
