Our client is a renowned food and beverage manufacturer seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Executive to join their team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to workplace safety excellence and environmental stewardship in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As an EHS Executive, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices. You will play a critical role in creating a safe working environment while promoting sustainable practices across all operational areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing safety, excellent knowledge of Singapore's workplace safety regulations, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with management, production teams, and external stakeholders to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and foster a culture of safety awareness.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with Singapore regulations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and control measures
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and emission controls
- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation, reports, and records for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects and process changes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety performance and reduce environmental impact
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing, preferably food and beverage
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and environmental laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Professional certifications such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 preferred
- Experience in conducting EHS training and awareness programs
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
