This is a unique opportunity to work with international projects, utilizing your technical expertise to provide accurate cost projections and project feasibility reports.
As an Electrical Estimator, you will serve as a vital link between technical engineering and project profitability. You will leverage your understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems to interpret complex blueprints, analyze material costs, and ensure our bids are both competitive and technically sound. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze architectural and electrical blueprints to identify project requirements and material specifications.
- Perform accurate take-offs and cost estimation for electrical and instrumentation installations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with Australian building standards.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation and bid proposals for commercial and industrial projects.
- Maintain a database of current supplier pricing, labor rates, and material costs to ensure estimation accuracy.
- Conduct site visits or virtual walk-throughs to assess technical feasibility for complex installations.
- Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities to improve project margins.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical diploma as an Electrical Technician.
- Proven professional experience in electrical estimation, specifically within the construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and relevant industry regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Previous experience working with Australian construction firms or projects is highly preferred.
