PT Maruwai Coal is seeking a dedicated and analytical ESG Officer to join our team in Jakarta. As we continue to prioritize sustainable mining practices, this role is pivotal in driving our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda forward. You will play a critical role in standardizing our data collection processes, ensuring compliance with global reporting standards, and providing actionable insights to our leadership team to enhance our corporate sustainability profile.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG metrics into our operational framework. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end collection, validation, and maintenance of ESG-related data across all operational sites.
- Support the preparation of annual sustainability reports in alignment with GRI, SASB, or TCFD frameworks.
- Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in existing environmental and social performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track progress against sustainability KPIs and reduction targets.
- Monitor regulatory changes in the mining and energy sector to ensure continuous compliance.
- Assist in the development of ESG communication materials for investors, regulators, and local communities.
- Perform field data audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reported information.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, or environmental consultancy.
- Strong technical understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, or DJSI).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian, capable of translating complex data into executive summaries.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
