- Assisting in the preparation and review of detailed cost estimates, material takeoffs, and bid proposals for construction projects.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate data input and cost projections.
- Analyzing project specifications and blueprints to determine precise material requirements and labor costs.
- Maintaining and updating estimation databases and spreadsheets with current market pricing and supplier rates.
- Participating in bid preparation and proposal generation to effectively support the sales and business development team.
- Conducting research on market trends and supplier pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Preparing weekly or monthly reports on budget variances, cost summaries, and project financial health.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in construction estimating, cost control, or quantity surveying (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or advanced Excel functions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic understanding of construction materials, methods, and local building codes.
