As a key member of our pre-construction team, you'll analyze project specifications, determine material requirements, calculate labor costs, and prepare comprehensive estimates that ensure both client satisfaction and project profitability.

You'll collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to develop detailed cost breakdowns, assess risks, and identify value engineering opportunities. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for painting and coatings projects
- Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs based on project scope and industry standards
- Research current market prices for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Prepare comprehensive bid documents, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and address questions
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings through value engineering
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and bid history for future reference and analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and best practices in estimating methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or painting industry, preferably with experience in Australian markets
- Strong understanding of painting materials, techniques, and application methods
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and project teams
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience developing comprehensive cost estimates for commercial and residential painting projects
- Knowledge of construction contracts and bidding processes
