We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Executive, Finance (General Ledger Lead) to oversee the financial integrity of GD Express. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the General Ledger operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and leading the month-end closing process. You will play a critical role in maintaining robust internal controls and providing actionable financial insights to support the company's growth objectives.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the General Ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, complete, and posted in accordance with accounting policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of trial balances, financial statements, and required reconciliations.
- Perform complex account reconciliations to ensure bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances are accurate.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and potential risks, providing recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, internal controls, and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and tax filings.
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff to ensure high standards of work quality and professional development.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Month-End Closing.
- Strong working knowledge of MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards).
- Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically experience with SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
