Tanggung Jawab
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns and regulatory filings to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
- Conduct in-depth tax research to interpret new tax legislation and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients to identify tax planning opportunities and optimize their tax positions.
- Assist in the implementation and utilization of digital tax software and automation tools.
- Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation to support audit processes.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members during tax audits and inquiries.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance or advisory roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, IRB regulations, and double tax agreements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
