The Provincial Government of Catanduanes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Foreman to oversee agricultural operations within the Bicol Region. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate daily farm activities including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest operations
- Manage and direct farm workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity targets are met
- Implement and maintain sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural techniques
- Monitor crop growth, pest control, and irrigation systems to optimize yield and quality
- Maintain farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure in proper working condition
- Coordinate with agricultural extension workers and government agencies for program implementation
- Prepare reports on farm operations, production yields, and resource utilization
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and government policies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or related field (preferred but not required for government positions)
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in farm management, agricultural operations, or related supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of tropical crop production, livestock management, and modern farming techniques
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Experience with farm equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor farm environments under various weather conditions
- Good communication skills in Filipino and English for reporting and community coordination
- Valid government-issued identification and eligibility for civil service positions
