Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare, analyze, and review accurate financial statements, management accounts, and reports in compliance with MFRS and company policies.
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local tax regulations (e.g., SST, corporate income tax) and facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Implement, maintain, and enhance robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency within the finance department through automation and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide accounting staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of management and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
