Connext is a leading construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across the Philippines. We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team and manage all accounting operations for our construction projects. This remote role offers the flexibility of working from home with a 25% differential pay on top of a competitive salary.
As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting and financial management. Your key areas of focus will include work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, cash flow management, and financial reporting. You will work closely with project managers and executive leadership to provide financial insights and ensure project profitability.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in construction accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. CPA qualification is highly preferred. If you are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all aspects of construction accounting, including WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure liquidity and project funding.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
- Drive process improvements and automation in financial systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or project-based accounting.
- Expertise in WIP accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition (preferably percentage-of-completion).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or construction-specific ERPs).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
