In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our capital expenditure (CAPEX) lifecycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and insightful analysis that drives our operational success.
As our Finance Executive, you will manage end-to-end CAPEX workflowsâfrom project initiation and Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking to final capitalization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain rigorous accounting standards, provide strategic financial support, and ensure that all capital transactions align with corporate governance. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of capital expenditure (CAPEX) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Maintain and reconcile Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status.
- Prepare and analyze monthly capital expenditure reports, identifying trends and variances for management review.
- Ensure full compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS), and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to validate project costs and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for capital assets.
- Conduct physical asset verification and reconciliation exercises to ensure the accuracy of the fixed asset register.
- Support year-end audits by preparing necessary documentation and schedules related to capital accounts.
- Drive process improvements within the finance function to increase efficiency in capital reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA).
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting, specifically within the area of fixed assets or capital accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of MFRS and international accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or SQL-based accounting software).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
