Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local standards.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements specific to the digital asset and fintech industry.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial laws, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Prior experience in the digital asset, cryptocurrency, or regulated financial services sector is a significant advantage.
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local taxation laws in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-changing startup or corporate environment.
