Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is a pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. With a legacy of excellence, we have expanded our footprint into the poultry and farming sectors, contributing significantly to the nation's food security. We are currently seeking a highly analytical and strategically-minded Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Farming Division.
As the Finance Manager, you will be a key business partner to the operational leadership, providing the financial insights necessary to drive efficiency and profitability within our agricultural segments. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical accounting and high-level strategic planning. You will ensure that all financial activities remain compliant with standard accounting practices while optimizing the financial performance of our farming assets.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial management for the farming division, including monthly financial reporting and analysis.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular forecast updates to the senior management team.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure optimal liquidity for farming operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and provide financial guidance on capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects and farming technology investments.
- Monitor and manage the valuation of biological assets in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive operational efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or MIA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the FMCG, Manufacturing, or Agricultural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and local tax laws in Malaysia.
- Proven experience in managing a team and working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
