Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with NGO regulatory standards.
- Manage grant reporting and ensure funds are allocated and utilized according to donor requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and monitor organizational budgets, providing variance analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure complete financial transparency.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk and ensure asset protection.
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) in adherence to Malaysian labor laws.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance management, with previous experience in the NGO or non-profit sector being a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of Malaysian financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead collaborative team projects.
- High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and a commitment to mission-driven work.
