Ang Mo Kio Town Council is looking for a meticulous and professional Finance Officer to support our financial operations. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the integrity of our reporting processes. As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the Town Council, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with statutory regulations. Your expertise will help us maintain transparency and efficiency in our financial management systems.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage the general ledger and perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, trial balances, and year-end schedules.
  • Process and verify accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate coding.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor departmental expenditures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Town Council financial regulations, audit requirements, and statutory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents and contracts.
  • Provide financial data and support to management for decision-making purposes.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CFA).
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards and internal control procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and external parties.
