Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the ECO Group of Companies, ensuring intercompany balances and transactions are effectively managed.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, highlighting key trends, variances, and providing insightful commentary to management.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Participate actively in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to strategic financial planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial reporting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or assistant managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in group consolidation within a diversified business group is a distinct advantage.
