- Supervise and manage all general accounting functions, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, Philippine accounting standards (PFRS), and internal controls.
- Oversee the accurate and timely maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and efficient month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insightful commentary to management for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., BIR) and other statutory requirements, handling all necessary filings and remittances.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting staff, fostering a collaborative, productive, and high-performance work environment.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial operations.
- Assist in the preparation for and coordination with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to support business initiatives, provide financial guidance, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related business field. CPA certification is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax laws (BIR regulations).
- Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
