Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the full spectrum of corporate tax compliance, including income tax, Sales and Service Tax (SST), and withholding tax.
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, tax computations, and relevant tax schedules within statutory deadlines.
- Handle transfer pricing documentation and ensure strict compliance with international tax regulations.
- Liaise effectively with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM), Royal Malaysian Customs, external auditors, and tax consultants.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Provide proactive tax advisory and planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position and mitigate risks.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with local accounting standards (MFRS), corporate policies, and statutory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related professional discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, audit, or corporate finance roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and SST guidelines.
- Proficient in using enterprise accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
