ASSA ABLOY is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team in Johor Bahru. In this key role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations. You will play a vital role in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), overseeing fixed asset management, and ensuring timely calculation of Sales and Service Tax (SST). Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily financial accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliation and processing.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS standards.
- Oversee fixed asset management, including tracking, depreciation schedules, and asset disposal documentation.
- Ensure accurate computation and timely filing of Sales and Service Tax (SST) reports with LHDN.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal management during the yearly financial audit process.
- Assist in tax planning, compliance activities, and year-end tax closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls and governance processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
