The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is inviting dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join our team in Northern Mindanao as a Fire Officer 3. As a key member of our fire suppression and prevention unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety, managing emergency responses, and upholding the integrity of the BFP’s mission to save lives and property.
In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership, technical proficiency in firefighting operations, and a strong commitment to community service. You will work alongside a team of highly trained professionals to implement fire safety policies, conduct inspections, and lead response efforts during fire and non-fire emergencies. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise fire suppression operations and rescue missions during emergencies.
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections of commercial and residential establishments to ensure compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines.
- Develop and implement community fire prevention awareness programs and disaster preparedness drills.
- Supervise subordinate fire personnel and provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, administrative documentation, and performance assessments.
- Manage the maintenance and readiness of firefighting equipment, fire trucks, and station facilities.
- Collaborate with local government units and other emergency response agencies during multi-agency disasters.
- Enforce fire safety regulations and assist in the investigation of fire incidents.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Filipino citizen of good moral character.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Must have passed the Fire Officer Examination or equivalent Career Service Professional eligibility.
- Demonstrated experience in fire suppression, rescue operations, or related emergency services.
- Excellent command of both oral and written communication for reporting and public engagement.
- Physically and mentally fit to undergo rigorous training and perform demanding field operations.
- Must meet the height and weight requirements as mandated by BFP recruitment standards.
- Willing to be assigned to any station within the Northern Mindanao region.
