We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Gelugor, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate management of the company’s fixed asset portfolio, ensuring that all capital expenditures are tracked, recorded, and reported in strict accordance with international financial reporting standards. You will act as the guardian of our asset data, bridging the gap between physical assets and financial statements. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the complete asset lifecycle, including acquisition, tagging, depreciation, and disposal.
- Prepare accurate monthly depreciation schedules and journal entries.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies with the ledger.
- Ensure all asset records are maintained in the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) and are up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of fixed asset schedules for statutory audits and management reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Accounting Standards (MAS) and IFRS regarding asset recognition and measurement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
- ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup) is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
