Tanggung Jawab
- Provide expert legal advice and counsel on international and domestic legal matters, with a focus on cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, legal agreements, and policy documents relevant to a legal technology company.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on emerging laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting the company's operations and products in various jurisdictions.
- Collaborate effectively with product development, engineering, and sales teams to ensure legal soundness and compliance of new and existing legal technology solutions.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, local PH laws), and information security from an international perspective.
- Manage and oversee legal aspects of partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as needed.
- Represent the company in legal discussions with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and international partners.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent advanced law degree from an accredited international institution.
- Admission to the Bar in a foreign jurisdiction (e.g., US, UK, Australia, etc.) is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, with significant exposure to international law or cross-border transactions.
- Demonstrated understanding of legal technology industry trends, software licensing, and digital service regulations is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for a professional legal environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural setting.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and comfortable with technology platforms and digital workflows.
