Join the vibrant community at United World College Singapore as a Freelance Dance Coach. You will play a pivotal role in our co-curricular activities, reporting directly to the Activities, Camps and Community Manager on East Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and mentor students through the transformative power of dance, fostering creativity, discipline, and physical fitness among a diverse group of young learners.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to deliver high-quality dance instruction. You will be responsible for designing and executing engaging lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels, ensuring every student feels challenged and supported. Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver engaging and structured dance classes to students of various skill levels and ages.
- Plan and prepare innovative dance routines and comprehensive lesson plans aligned with school goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and confidence.
- Collaborate with the Activities, Camps and Community Manager to coordinate schedules, rehearsals, and performances.
- Organize and participate in end-of-term showcases, school events, and community performances.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for all students.
- Manage dance equipment and costumes to ensure they are in good condition for use.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a dance coach or instructor, preferably in an educational or extracurricular setting.
- Strong background in one or more dance styles, such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop.
- Relevant dance certification or a degree in Dance Education, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage young adults effectively.
- Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
- First Aid certification is an asset.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by performance schedules.
