Lear Corporation, a global automotive technology leader ranked #75 on the Fortune 500, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Freight Auditor (Project Based Contractual) to join our dynamic finance and logistics team in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
In this critical role, you will serve as the gatekeeper for our logistics billing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all supplier freight invoices by conducting thorough audits against plant demand, delivery confirmations, and contractual agreements. You will directly contribute to operational efficiency and cost control by identifying discrepancies, preventing overpayments, and ensuring full contract compliance.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct detailed audits of freight invoices from third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure strict billing accuracy and full alignment with contractual rates, terms, and conditions.
- Methodically verify freight charges against cross-functional documentation, including purchase orders, delivery receipts, bill of lading, and plant demand schedules.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex discrepancies such as overcharges, duplicate payments, pricing errors, and unauthorized accessorial charges in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the Accounts Payable department to process necessary adjustments, credit memos, and ensure accurate payment cycles are maintained.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized audit trail for all reviewed invoices and prepare detailed monthly reports on audit findings, cost savings, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
- Communicate professionally with logistics providers and internal stakeholders (Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to clarify billing issues and drive systematic corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with company logistics policies and global freight audit standards while actively contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
- Support month-end closing activities by reconciling freight accruals, analyzing logistics spend variances, and providing actionable insights to management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in freight audit, logistics billing, accounts payable, or supply chain finance; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and complex pricing models.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros). Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in performing repetitive data validation tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with external 3PL vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle high volumes of invoices in a strict deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, including various modes of transport (FTL, LTL, Ocean, Air) and standard freight audit protocols is a strong plus.
