Excelitas Technologies is seeking a dedicated General Accountant (Liabilities) to join our high-performing team in Cabuyao, Laguna. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our regional financial integrity, reporting directly to the site Accounting Lead in Manila while collaborating extensively with our finance operations across Asia.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong grasp of liability management, accrual accounting, and financial reporting standards. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements by managing accounts payable, reconciliation processes, and intercompany transactions. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform month-end closing activities specifically related to liability accounts and accruals.
- Coordinate with the Manila accounting lead to ensure compliance with global reporting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Support cross-functional finance operations for various Asian sites, ensuring consistency in financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet movements, providing detailed explanations for variances.
- Maintain intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Participate in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and financial schedules.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related Finance field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in General Accounting, with a specific focus on Liabilities/AP.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and international accounting practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across regional teams.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict month-end reporting deadlines.
