In this role, you will bridge the gap between local financial operations and U.S. GAAP standards, ensuring that our financial records are accurate, compliant, and insightful.
As a General Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our general ledger, performing month-end and year-end close procedures, and preparing essential financial reports. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a strong command of accounting principles, specifically U.S. GAAP. Tanggung Jawab
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing necessary adjusting entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure cash balances are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal controls, and external accounting standards to mitigate risk.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Assist in processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable workflows to maintain healthy vendor and client relationships.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency in financial reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in general accounting, with specific exposure to U.S. GAAP standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Excel) is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors in financial data.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts clearly.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote or hybrid work environment.
