Join Honeywell as our General Counsel and lead the legal strategy for our operations in Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will report directly to the Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and General Counsel for ESG, playing a pivotal role in shaping our legal landscape. This position offers the opportunity to drive compliance, mitigate risks, and support innovative business initiatives within a global technology leader. You will oversee complex legal matters, ensure adherence to international and local regulations, and contribute to our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership and board members on corporate governance, transactions, and regulatory matters
- Lead all legal aspects of M&A activities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Develop and implement global compliance programs with a focus on APAC regulations
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution for the region
- Oversee intellectual property protection and data privacy initiatives
- Drive ESG legal frameworks to support sustainability and ethical business practices
- Lead and mentor the legal team, ensuring professional development and operational excellence
Kualifikasi
- Admitted to the Malaysian Bar with 10+ years of post-qualification experience
- Proven track record as General Counsel or equivalent senior legal leadership role
- Deep expertise in corporate law, compliance, and international regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing cross-border legal operations in APAC markets
- Strong background in ESG governance and sustainability legal strategies
- Exceptional negotiation skills with ability to navigate complex commercial agreements
- Advanced degree in Law (LLM/JD) from a recognized institution preferred
