M-Commerce Corporation is currently seeking a skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team based in Bonifacio Global City. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our financial data, ensuring that daily transactions are recorded with precision to support strategic financial management.
As our GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned entities, acting as a key contributor to our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in an on-site collaborative environment, possesses a strong grasp of accounting principles, and is committed to excellence in financial documentation and compliance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately record and process daily general ledger (GL) transactions for assigned legal entities.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and local tax regulations.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable records to ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, providing support to the finance management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to verify transaction details and supporting documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant advantage but not required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in General Ledger accounting or general accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and taxation laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site office environment in BGC.
