The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECER DC) is seeking a dynamic General Manager of Investor Management to spearhead our investment facilitation and strategic engagement initiatives.
In this high-impact leadership role, you will act as the primary liaison between ECER DC and potential investors, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to project realization. You will be instrumental in positioning the East Coast Economic Region as a premier destination for both domestic and foreign direct investments. Your work will directly influence the socio-economic development of the region, coordinating with high-level stakeholders to overcome operational hurdles and accelerate the implementation of high-impact projects.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to attract and retain high-impact investments within the ECER.
- Lead end-to-end investment facilitation processes, serving as the primary point of contact for key industrial players.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with government agencies, ministries, and private sector stakeholders to streamline regulatory and operational requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and investment performance to provide actionable insights for council leadership.
- Drive the realization of investment projects by identifying bottlenecks and coordinating inter-agency solutions.
- Prepare and present high-level reports, investment proposals, and briefing materials for the Board of Directors and government stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide the investor management team to achieve departmental KPIs and excellence in service delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in investment promotion, business development, or corporate strategy, preferably within a government-linked or industrial development environment.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale stakeholder engagements and investment realization processes.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and high-level government officials.
- Deep knowledge of Malaysia’s economic policies, investment incentives, and the regional industrial landscape.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and create comprehensive strategic investment plans.
- Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory.
