- Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to prepare accurate glazing cost estimates
- Collaborate with project teams to identify scope requirements and potential cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare detailed bid documents including material takeoffs, labor calculations, and overhead allocations
- Research market pricing for glazing materials and subcontractor services
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and estimate installation requirements
- Develop and maintain estimation templates and cost databases for future projects
- Present cost analyses to stakeholders and justify estimate methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a cost estimator in construction, architectural metalwork, or glazing industry
- Proficiency in estimation software (Bluebeam, CostX, or similar)
- Strong understanding of glazing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
