We are seeking a detail-oriented Global Fixed Asset Accountant to join our finance team at our Shared Service Center (SSC). In this pivotal role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of fixed assets, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with IFRS and local regulatory standards, and reliable financial reporting. You will oversee the capitalization of assets, depreciation calculations, and monthly reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the Fixed Asset Register. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full cycle of fixed asset accounting, including asset acquisition, disposal, revaluation, and impairment.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of the Fixed Asset Register to the general ledger and ensure all variances are investigated and resolved.
- Calculate and post depreciation expense accurately in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
- Assist in the annual fixed asset physical verification process and prepare audit schedules for internal and external auditors.
- Ensure proper documentation and tagging of assets in the ERP system (SAP).
- Support month-end and year-end close activities with accurate fixed asset reporting.
- Review capital expenditure requests and ensure they meet funding and compliance criteria.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in Fixed Asset Management within a Shared Service Center or MNC environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, with a solid understanding of module configuration.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good command of English and local language.
