We are seeking a dedicated Halal Executive to join our team at RESTORAN SEAFOOD D BENDANG (AMPANG) SDN BHD. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our restaurant maintains full compliance with halal standards and regulations. You will manage all aspects of our halal certification process, from initial applications to renewals, while maintaining our Halal Assurance System (HAS). This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of halal requirements in the food service industry.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to providing authentic halal cuisine to our customers. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure all ingredients meet halal standards, conduct regular internal audits, and develop comprehensive halal policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for training staff on halal compliance matters and preparing detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.

- Manage halal certification applications and renewals with JAKIM
- Maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS) documentation and processes
- Monitor supplier and ingredient compliance with halal standards
- Conduct internal audits to ensure halal compliance across all operations
- Train staff on halal procedures, standards, and best practices
- Develop and implement comprehensive halal policies and procedures
- Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding halal certification matters
- Prepare detailed reports on halal compliance status for management
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Food Science, or related field
- Previous experience in halal certification management
- Thorough knowledge of JAKIM halal standards and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and documentation abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills for halal compliance issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in halal management software and documentation systems
