As the Head Coach (Speed Climbing), you'll lead our elite athletes to competitive dominance while shaping the future of climbing in Singapore. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to develop world-class speed climbing programs. You'll drive innovation in training methodologies, foster a high-performance culture, and represent our federation at international competitions. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement comprehensive speed climbing training programs for national athletes
- Coach elite competitors in technical skills, physical conditioning, and mental preparation
- Develop competition strategies and prepare athletes for national/international events
- Monitor athlete performance data and adjust training methodologies using analytics
- Collaborate with sports scientists and physiotherapists for holistic athlete development
- Recruit and develop emerging talent through grassroots identification programs
- Represent federation at technical committees and industry workshops
- Ensure compliance with World Sport Climbing Federation regulations and standards
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years competitive speed coaching experience at national/international level
- Valid national coaching certification (or equivalent from recognized climbing federation)
- Proven track record of athletes achieving podium results in speed climbing
- Advanced knowledge of biomechanics, periodization, and injury prevention
- Experience with video analysis and performance tracking technologies
- Strong leadership and communication skills with diverse athlete groups
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Fluency in English with proficiency in at least one other language preferred
