As the Head Nurse, you will serve as the bridge between the medical staff and administrative operations, ensuring that all clinical protocols are strictly followed. You will coordinate closely with ophthalmologists to facilitate smooth patient care pathways, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the daily nursing operations and patient flow within the Ophthalmology department.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure high standards of clinical practice and professional development.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, reporting any critical changes or complications immediately to the attending physician.
- Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and sterilization procedures for medical equipment.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and referrals to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring high patient satisfaction scores.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall healthcare delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related medical degree.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Philippines.
- At least 3-5 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in Ophthalmology, Surgery, or ICU.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Valid Professional License to Practice Nursing.
- Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and patient care management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
