Yayasan Bina Nusantara is seeking a visionary and experienced academic leader to serve as the Head of Department (Kaprodi) for the Accounting program at SATU University, Pontianak. This is a pivotal role for an educator passionate about shaping the next generation of accounting professionals through academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement.
As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for upholding the university's high standards of teaching, fostering a collaborative faculty environment, and ensuring the curriculum remains at the forefront of industry demands. You will lead strategic planning, accreditation processes, and student development initiatives, serving as a bridge between the academic community and the professional accounting industry.
We are looking for a candidate who combines administrative prowess with deep subject matter expertise, capable of inspiring both staff and students to achieve excellence in the dynamic field of accounting.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement strategic academic programs for the Accounting department to ensure competitiveness and industry relevance.
- Manage faculty performance, professional development, and teaching schedules to maintain high-quality instructional standards.
- Oversee departmental accreditation processes and ensure compliance with national educational standards (DIKTI).
- Spearhead research initiatives and encourage faculty publication in reputable, indexed journals.
- Facilitate community development and outreach programs that demonstrate the department's social impact.
- Foster strong relationships with industry partners and professional bodies to enhance student internship and career opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate student academic progress and address departmental administrative challenges effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Master’s degree in Accounting; a Doctoral degree (PhD/S3) is highly preferred.
- Possess a valid NIDN (Nomor Induk Dosen Nasional) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in higher education, preferably in an academic leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian Higher Education regulations and accreditation standards.
- Proven track record in research and scholarly contribution to the field of accounting.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- Willingness to be based in Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat.
