The Opportunity: Head of Life & Health, Asia Pacific

Based in the dynamic hub of Singapore, you will lead the strategic direction and commercial operations for our Life & Health portfolio across the entire Asia Pacific region. Reporting directly to senior global executive leadership, you will take full ownership of the P&L, spearheading a high-performing, cross-functional team of data scientists, actuaries, product managers, and client engagement directors. What You Will Do

• Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the Life & Health portfolio, aligning with global objectives to capture market share in APAC.
• Build, mentor, and lead a diverse, cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Own the regional P&L, driving top-line revenue growth while managing budgets and operational efficiency to achieve aggressive financial targets.
• Partner with product and R&D teams to tailor Verisk's L&H solutions to the unique regulatory and market demands of the Asia Pacific market.
• Act as a senior executive sponsor for top-tier clients, ensuring exceptional value delivery and identifying opportunities for expanded engagement.
• Represent Verisk at industry conferences, regulatory forums, and client events, establishing the company as a thought leader in Life & Health analytics.
• Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging trends in insurtech, wellness, and mortality/morbidity risk to inform strategic pivots.

What We Are Looking For

• 15+ years of progressive experience in the Life & Health insurance industry, with a strong focus on analytics, data, or technology solutions.
• Proven track record of P&L leadership, managing a business unit or significant product portfolio with demonstrable revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of actuarial science, risk pricing, claims analytics, and the regulatory landscape in Asia Pacific markets.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with experience engaging C-level clients and building strategic partnerships.
• Data-driven mindset with a strong grasp of how AI, machine learning, and big data are transforming the life and health insurance value chain.
• Experience managing a regional or multi-country team across diverse cultures and markets.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) in a relevant field such as Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Business Administration preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an Asian language (Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, etc.) is a distinct advantage.
