We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Risk to join our organization in Makati City. In this critical executive leadership role, you will be the primary architect of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring that the company maintains robust operational resilience while navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the insurance and financial services sector.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the Board and Executive Management, proactively identifying emerging risks and implementing mitigation strategies that protect our organizational integrity, financial stability, and long-term strategic growth. You will foster a culture of risk awareness across all business units, ensuring that internal controls are not only compliant but also serve as a competitive advantage.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and oversee the organization's comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational, financial, and strategic risks across all business departments.
- Prepare high-level risk assessment reports and insights for the Board of Directors and senior stakeholders.
- Develop and enforce risk appetite statements, policies, and internal control protocols aligned with local and international regulatory standards.
- Oversee the business continuity and crisis management planning to ensure organizational resilience.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of emerging market threats, regulatory changes, and economic trends impacting the insurance sector.
- Partner with department heads to integrate risk management practices into daily operational decision-making processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or internal audit within the insurance, banking, or financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of Philippine regulatory requirements and international risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO).
- Proven track record of operating at an executive or senior management level with successful stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable business intelligence.
- Strong leadership abilities with a history of mentoring high-performing teams.
- Professional certification such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CRM (Certified Risk Manager), or equivalent is a strong advantage.
