Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure full compliance with OSH Act regulations and company safety policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plans and procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend effective corrective measures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate safety records, reports, and statistical data for management and regulatory bodies.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and inductions for employees and subcontractors.
- Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and address safety hazards immediately.
- Liaise with government authorities, external consultants, and insurance companies regarding safety compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and influence staff behavior.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
