City Garden Hotels is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer / Supervisor to lead our human resources operations in Malate, Metro Manila. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving hospitality brand and take ownership of the full employee lifecycle.
As the HR Officer / Supervisor, you will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will implement and refine HR policies, manage government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and ensure a positive and productive work environment for all team members.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the Philippine Labor Code and a passion for developing people. You will work closely with department heads to forecast staffing needs, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless hiring process. Your role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of employee satisfaction and service excellence.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for hotel staff, from sourcing and interviewing to job offers and onboarding.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure full compliance with the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Oversee the performance appraisal system, working with department heads to set goals and conduct reviews.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee 201 files, and HRIS systems.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, events, and company culture-building activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven HR experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or officer role.
- Strong preference for candidates with hospitality, hotel, or service industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE compliance, and standard HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team and influence stakeholders.
