Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, the premier owner and operator of the iconic Suria KLCC shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HSE Executive to join our dynamic team. As an HSE Executive, you will play a critical role in upholding and advancing our safety culture.
In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems. You will ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc.) and Suria KLCC's internal standards. Key accountabilities include conducting regular safety audits and inspections, leading hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRARC), managing emergency response procedures and drills, investigating workplace incidents and near misses, and delivering engaging safety training programs to staff and contractors.
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and related regulations. You must be certified as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by NIOSH and have a proven track record in implementing OSH management systems, preferably ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Experience in facilities management, retail, or the built environment is a distinct advantage. You will collaborate closely with various departments to drive safety initiatives, promote a zero-harm culture, and manage HSE documentation and reporting.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with Malaysian regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974).
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRARC) across all areas of the mall.
- Lead and coordinate emergency response planning, including fire drills, bomb threat procedures, and crisis management exercises.
- Investigate all workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage HSE training programs for employees, tenants, and contractors, ensuring competency and safety awareness at all levels.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports, statistics, and documentation to management and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with government agencies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, JKKP) on compliance matters and permit renewals.
- Champion a proactive safety culture by promoting safe work practices and environmental sustainability initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with NIOSH / DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in facilities management, retail, hospitality, or property development.
- Thorough knowledge of Malaysian HSE legal and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FMA, EQA).
- Experience with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HSE reporting tools.
