Oki Pulp & Paper Mills is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated HSE Manager to oversee and lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations within our pulp and paper manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering a robust safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing operational risks in a high-demand industrial environment. We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive continuous improvement in safety performance while protecting our most valuable asset—our people.
As the HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation as a responsible manufacturer. You will implement safety management systems, conduct rigorous risk assessments, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to pulp and paper manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented immediately.
- Lead and manage the investigation of all workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations, including OSHA, K3 (Indonesian Safety Standards), and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for all levels of employees to enhance safety awareness.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to integrate safety considerations into all business processes and project planning.
- Manage HSE budget, procurement of PPE, and safety equipment maintenance schedules.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HSE management within the pulp and paper, chemical, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).
- Proven track record of leading safety culture transformation and incident reduction programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence behavior change.
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and incident reporting systems.
