Join PT Bahtera Bumi Raya as our HSE Supervisor for our nickel mining operations in Konawe Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara. This critical role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a culture of safety excellence at our mining site. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct regular inspections, investigate incidents, and ensure all personnel adhere to established safety protocols. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency while prioritizing the well-being of our workforce and the surrounding environment.
As HSE Supervisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards, implement corrective measures, and continuously improve our safety performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE programs aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at the mining site
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and ensure proper waste management practices
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct regular safety drills
- Provide HSE training to employees and contractors to promote safety awareness
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and prepare regular reports for management
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes relevant to mining operations
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Mining Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management within the mining industry, preferably with nickel mining operations
- Certification in HSE management (e.g., SMK3, OSHA, ISO 45001) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and environmental standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and influence others
- Proficient in incident investigation techniques and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to work in a remote mining environment with flexibility in working hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
