We are now looking for an experienced Import Operations professional to manage our import processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will handle all aspects of import shipments, from booking and documentation to customs clearance and final delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with Indonesian regulations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with overseas agents, preparing shipping documents, verifying declarations, and tracking cargo movements. You will also be responsible for resolving any operational issues, negotiating rates with freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate shipment records. Your expertise will directly contribute to our service quality and customer satisfaction.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end import shipments via air and sea freight, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
- Prepare and verify all necessary import documents (bill of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates).
- Coordinate with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure timely clearance and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolve issues, and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize shipping routes to achieve cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all import activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to align delivery schedules.
- Stay updated on changes in import regulations and industry best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in import operations, preferably with exposure to both air and sea freight.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, tariffs, and import procedures.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification in logistics or customs (e.g., PPJK) is a plus.
