Carmen Copper Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Hygienist to join our health and safety team in Toledo City. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our workforce by identifying, evaluating, and controlling workplace hazards that could impact employee health.
As an Industrial Hygienist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of our comprehensive industrial hygiene program. You will lead field assessments, conduct environmental monitoring, and ensure that our operations remain compliant with national and international health standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement site-wide industrial hygiene programs to monitor and control occupational health risks.
- Conduct routine air quality monitoring, noise level assessments, and ergonomic evaluations across mining operations.
- Analyze hazardous exposure data and recommend effective engineering controls or administrative procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of health assessments, sampling results, and compliance documentation.
- Lead regular workplace audits to ensure adherence to OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) protocols.
- Provide technical training and guidance to employees regarding chemical safety, PPE usage, and health hazard awareness.
- Collaborate with the medical team to correlate environmental findings with employee health trends.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports on industrial hygiene performance metrics for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health, preferably in a mining or heavy industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and international health guidelines.
- Proficiency in using industrial hygiene monitoring equipment (e.g., sound level meters, gas detectors, dosimeters).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting safety findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Toledo City, Cebu.
- Professional certifications (e.g., COSH, BOSH, or specialized Industrial Hygiene training) are highly preferred.
