Ng Teng Fong General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Informatics Pharmacist to bridge the gap between pharmacy operations and information technology. As an Informatics Pharmacist, you will be instrumental in the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and automated dispensing technologies. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including IT professionals, nursing staff, and medical doctors, to enhance patient safety through technology. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of pharmacy information systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing EMR workflows.
- Analyze pharmacy data to identify trends, improve medication safety, and optimize inventory management systems.
- Provide expert clinical guidance to the IT department for system upgrades, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular audits of pharmacy systems to ensure compliance with institutional protocols and regulatory standards.
- Train healthcare staff on the effective use of pharmacy technology and electronic medication management tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary committees to design and implement digital solutions that reduce medication errors.
- Maintain system databases, including drug dictionaries, clinical decision support rules, and order sets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy informatics, CPOE systems, and medication safety practices.
- Proven ability to manage technical projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or BI platforms) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in digital health innovation.
