In this critical role, you will be responsible for translating physician documentation into universal medical codes, ensuring accurate billing and maintaining high standards of patient data integrity.
We offer a competitive salary range of ₱80,000 – ₱85,000 per month and a full-time schedule. The role involves analyzing medical records, applying ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT medical codes to inpatient medical records based on physician documentation and clinical guidelines.
- Review and audit medical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Analyze documentation discrepancies and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve coding queries and denials.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information (PHI) in accordance with data privacy laws.
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices.
- Generate and submit coding reports to support financial performance and revenue cycle management.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field.
- RHIA or RHIT certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in inpatient medical coding within a hospital setting.
- Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical coding software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare providers and billing teams.
