Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient medical records according to official guidelines.
- Analyze medical records to ensure documentation supports the codes assigned for optimal reimbursement.
- Maintain high levels of coding accuracy (95%+) and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with clinical documentation improvement (CDI) teams to clarify physician notes.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient data confidentiality.
- Stay current with ongoing changes in healthcare regulations and coding updates.
- Participate in periodic quality audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Active certification (CCS, CPC, or RHIT preferred); candidates without CCS must be willing to undergo our training program.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inpatient medical coding.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM and PCS coding classification systems.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Stable home internet connection for remote work/training operations.
