Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular and thorough on-site inspections of all construction activities and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship, identify defects or non-conformances, and collaborate with contractors and project teams to implement corrective actions promptly.
- Verify that all construction work adheres to relevant local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, inspection reports, and documentation of site progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Review and approve materials samples, method statements, and shop drawings as per project requirements.
- Witness and verify critical tests (e.g., concrete tests, welding inspections) and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Provide technical advice and support to the project team regarding construction methods and quality control.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience as an Inspector of Work or Site Supervisor in major construction projects, preferably in Malaysia.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality control procedures, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
